What's the Enrichment Stream?

The short answer is responding to a need.

For the last few years we encountered a problem. Alumni of Summer Seminar and graduates of the Canadian Certificate in Youth Ministry Studies wanted to come back. They wanted more, but what could we give them? After some grassroots listening and brainstorming, we've decided to launch a second stream at Summer Seminar for continued professional development using the wealth of wisdom and gifts of leaders in Canada.

We think we've developed a great legacy with Summer Seminar, and this is just going to grow it! Here's what it will look like:
  • Daily prayer time
  • Half-day workshops touching on various Youth Ministry themes
  • Free time to plan your upcoming year, or to collaborate with peers.
  • The Summer Seminar experience, but without the homework!

When is it?

The Enrichment Stream will run Thursday, August 9 at 8:00am until Sunday August 12 at 2:00pm.

Adult Learning & Community

  • We want to put flesh on the topics you care about. This is as much hands on, self guided, practical, and appealing to multiple intelligences as we can make it. 

  • The idea is maximum 50% taught/presented in the mornings, with the rest of the course being co-working, developing, reflecting, experiencing and applying your new knowledge right away to your life and ministry!

  • Plus the same great community, fun, fellowship, prayer, and hospitality Summer Seminar is famous for!

What does it cost?

The Enrichment Stream will cost $350. As is tradition, this includes your accommodations at Queen's House as well as your meals.

​A discounted rate of $200 is available for those who will not be staying at Queen's House.
